MCR Operator

• Responsible for complete transmission output of Playout247 Services
• Check correctness of schedule (eg Part 1,2 etc in correct order, no obvious scheduling errors).
• Correlation of schedule to published EPG.
• Monitor punctuality of schedule.
• Inserting and replacing daily news events and making certain they run on time.
• Creating and playing out any TXCG events necessary.
• Making certain that the back-up machines are correctly set up and ready to go at all times.
• Monitoring unaccepted media library for all channels and informing the client as necessary.
• Making relevant, accurate and timely TX notes as necessary.
• Ensure tapes are received and logged in good time.
• Capture tapes.
• Apply strict quality control, using QC procedure.
• Write capture report for every capture.
• Create capture lists.
• OfAir Monitoring of all Satellite and IPTV channels
• Completing check list for Monitoring
• Cover shift’s for emergences

Required Skills:

• Developed communication skills. Customer contact and internal liaison with other operational staff 
• Organizational skills in all assigned tasks
• Sound PC skills Windows 2000 based operating system
• At least 4 years’ experience in MCR operation
• Experience in or knowledge of broadcast industry

App Developer

Due to workload of our current Development team we have a need of employing an additional developer to take on a task of creating and maintaining Vision IPTV app on various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining Vision IPTV app.
• Making necessary changes to UI and core functions to keep up with the latest industry standards.
• Performing various tests of newly built components in order to meet broadcasting level of stability.
• Writing documentation (comments in source + external files describing implemented features).

Essential skills:

• Proven experience on at least two modern app platforms (e.g iOS and Android)
