Vox Africa News Station
Playout247 have completed construction of another broadcast centre in Battersea, London.
Vox Africa use the facility to produce a news channel for the French speaking African diaspora around the globe. The channel is broadcast to Africa via satellite and globally through the internet at http://www.voxafrica.com using Playout247`s IPTV service.
Vox Africa is the first 24/7 French-language news channel to present the African point of view on events happening in Africa and around the globe and provides viewers with breaking news, stories on politics, business, and public affairs around the clock. Millions of viewers switch on to Vox Africa to gain a perspective other media are not likely to have.
The facility features a state of the art 'virtual studio' providing an unlimited choice of bespoke and off-the-shelf 3D environments for use as studio sets while the remote controlled 'robotic' cameras allow instant finger tip control of all camera parameters from the MCR for that 'real time' flexibility needed in a news environment.
Playout 247 worked closely with Media Alliance to produce a fully integrated news system making the technology transparent to the journalists allowing them to focus exclusively on the job of story making. Incoming news feeds are auto ingested into the news room system comprising media servers and software delivering the media and wire feeds to the journalists desk tops ready for use.
